A modern beacon that transmits ancient wisdom

There are mental constructs, ways of thinking, that affect decisions and actions. Some time they are the fruit of a process built up over time, other times they are processes inherent in the very DNA of a family. On the Ceschin family wine estate In the Veneto, in the area of the Colli di Conegliano, that order is synonymous with excellence. It is a striving for a natural coherence between the activities that compose it and the mental input that drives them. It is the humility to always stay a step behind, to gain the appropriate perspective to absorb, with penetrating vision, the experience of fathers and grandfathers.

Thus, constantly pushing himself towards new challenges, Nicoletto continues to build that passion solidly resting on love of his own corner of earth and gradually enlarged, year after year, with the bricks of his enthusiasm. This “work in progress” passed into the hands of his son Mosè and in its turn, to his son Giuseppe. To the traditionalist spirit of the local people he seemed so like his grandfather Nicoletto that he was given the same nickname, Bepin De Eto, or Giuseppe del Nicoletto. In 1965, after mastering the secrets of the winemaking profession and winning the trust of his local earth, Giuseppe’s son Ettore, directs the family operation with a firm hand, now assisted by his three daughters. Ettore bestowed on the winery the same nickname, Bepin De Eto, to commemorate his father, his family, and its history.
